It belonged to a salesman working for his father, who had no idea it was being used to race. He has also competed overseas doing a number of the Southern Cross rallies in Australia. It is competing with all the same livery that it had during that event 47 years ago. About 22 years ago Paul purchased this current car and began the restoration process with tremendous help from Don Fenwick, Peter Davidson, Earle McFarlane, Peter Jordan and numerous others about six years ago. It runs a two litre engine of around hp with a ZF five-speed gearbox and a limited slip differential.
